This week on the radio, I heard Gene Simmons say that Adam Lambert’s career will probably be over before it even starts because of his admission that he is gay. Which is total crap. Vivienne just asked me what 2-4 books that I would recommend for someone wanting to expand their library about the fat world. So, I was interested in a link that someone shared over on the Fat Studies Board to an Australian ad that was promoting the idea that "shape discrimination" was as bad as racism, homophobia, anti-Semitism, etc. The ad itself was a series of terrible, offensive "jokes" that were supposed to convince people that fat "jokes" were just as bad.
